Nature was against us on the way back up. The light fades quicly inside the Canyon, so this is the last decent picture I got. Here, we take a moment to ponder what we had gotten ourselves into (literally.) The cliffs on the left are our destination. It would take a gruling 4.5 hours of hiking to reach them. Between the bottom and Indian Gardens, we had to stop frequently because of the heat. After Indian Gardens, we still had to stop frequently because we were exhausted. All in all, it was a great experience.
